About this asset

This contemporary 2-seater sofa set, modelled in 3ds Max, features a beige fabric upholstery with a contrasting brown leather base. This 2-seater sofa presents a structured, contemporary silhouette defined by its two-tone finish. The main seating area and back cushions are upholstered in a neutral beige fabric, while the lower frame is wrapped in dark brown leather. The piece includes two square accent cushions: one in solid brown leather and one in a textured terracotta fabric. The set is completed by a pair of slim, dark-finished side tables, each topped with a matching table lamp featuring a tapered base and a simple, cylindrical drum shade. The proportions are balanced for small-scale lounge arrangements.

The download is a 3.8 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model holding 5 separate objects, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

To integrate this model into a 3ds Max scene, use the merge command to import the group into your project file. Ensure the pivot point is correctly aligned at the base for easy placement on floor geometry. The materials are assigned as multi-sub-object shaders, allowing for quick adjustments to texture maps or reflection values. Check the smoothing groups on the leather base to ensure clean light distribution, and consider using an instance for the repetitive lamp elements to keep the scene file size efficient.
