Traditional Dark Wood Altar Cabinet with Decorative Screen

This traditional dark wood altar cabinet is a 3ds Max model featuring an integrated decorative screen and ornamental brass-toned accessories. Constructed from dark-stained timber, this altar unit functions as a formal display and storage piece. The design includes a lower cabinet with two doors for concealed storage, topped by a flat surface for offerings. Above the main platform, a vertical frame supports a geometric lattice screen and a central circular motif with intricate cut-outs. The set includes essential ritual accessories such as small ceramic vessels and two tall, brass-toned candle holders placed symmetrically on the surface. Proportions are tall and narrow, balanced by the solid base and the open, airy structure of the upper section.

The download is a 14.5 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

Users should ensure the pivot point is set to the base for accurate floor-level placement. Given the complex geometry of the lattice and circular motif, it is recommended to manage these as separate sub-layers to facilitate efficient viewport manipulation. Materials are applied using standard architectural shaders, allowing for easy adjustment of the wood grain scale and metallic reflections on the candle holders to match the specific lighting environment of the interior scene.

This altar cabinet is intended for high-end residential projects, particularly in dining or living areas where a dedicated space for ancestral or cultural rituals is required. It pairs well with minimalist or traditional interior styles, acting as a focal point within a room. Professionals searching for cultural furniture, shrine units, or specific storage solutions for religious or traditional decor will find this model suitable for detailed interior visualisations, architectural renders, and cultural heritage design schemes where authentic atmosphere is essential.
