About this asset

This traditional 6-seater dining set for 3ds Max features a dark wood table and medallion-back chairs with rattan details. The dining set comprises a rectangular table with softened corners and six matching chairs. The table features a dark-stained wood finish with a subtle veneer pattern on the surface. Each chair is designed with a classic medallion backrest incorporating a rattan cane insert, supported by slender, tapered legs. The seat pads are upholstered in a yellow and white striped fabric. The set includes a decorative porcelain vase and place settings, adding a finished look to the composition. The proportions are balanced, reflecting a formal aesthetic suitable for traditional dining room interiors.

The download is an 18.9 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model holding 7 separate objects, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

In 3ds Max, this model is organised into logical groups for easy placement and manipulation. Users can adjust the material IDs to swap the wood finish or fabric patterns to suit specific project requirements. It is recommended to check the scale against standard dining height requirements before final placement. Lighting the scene requires careful adjustment of ambient occlusion and shadow settings to highlight the intricate rattan textures.

This set is appropriate for high-end residential dining rooms, formal banquet areas, or luxury hotel dining suites. It pairs well with classic interior elements such as crown moulding, wainscoting, or traditional area rugs. Professionals searching for formal dining furniture, medallion-back seating, or cane-detail chairs will find this asset versatile for various design schemes. It is suitable for use in architectural visualisations from early concept stages through to final presentation renders, providing a realistic and detailed focal point for interior spaces.
