About this asset

This contemporary 3ds Max model features a pair of teal velvet shell-back armchairs and a circular marble side table for lounge interiors. This furniture set comprises two identical armchairs with a distinctive shell-inspired fluted backrest, upholstered in a rich teal velvet fabric. Each chair is supported by slim, dark-finished metal legs. The set includes a matching circular side table featuring a white marble top and a polished metal pedestal base. A small, deep-red velvet scatter cushion is provided for each armchair, adding a contrasting texture and colour. The proportions are compact, making this ensemble suitable for intimate seating areas where both comfort and a refined aesthetic are required in a cohesive arrangement.

The download is a 4.1 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model holding 3 separate objects, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

Professionals can integrate this set into 3ds Max by merging the file into an existing scene. The objects are grouped for easy placement and scaling. Materials are applied using standard slots, allowing for adjustments to the velvet sheen or metal reflections via the material editor. Users should ensure the pivot points are correctly set to the base of the furniture for accurate floor placement. Lighting can be managed with standard HDRI maps to highlight the velvet fabric's depth and the marble's surface finish.

This set is ideal for residential living rooms, boutique hotel lobbies, or upscale retail lounge areas. It works well as a focal point in a reading corner or as part of a larger conversation group. Designers often search for these items when specifying luxury interior schemes that require a pop of colour and unique silhouette. The set pairs effectively with minimalist interiors to provide a soft, textural contrast, fitting seamlessly into projects that demand a sophisticated, curated look for guest or relaxation spaces.
