About this asset

This traditional brown wood TV cabinet for 3ds Max features ornate detailing and brass hardware, presented as a complete media set. This traditional media console is crafted from dark-toned wood, featuring a symmetrical configuration with two side cabinets and two central drawers. The design is characterised by its classic aesthetic, including carved apron details, decorative moulding along the top edges, and curved side profiles. Each cabinet door and drawer is fitted with polished brass pull handles, enhancing the formal, antique-inspired appearance. The central section provides open shelving for media components, while the storage drawers offer space for accessories. The unit is shown as part of a set, including a flat-screen television and floor-standing speaker towers.

The download is a 12.1 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

In 3ds Max, this model is organised with logical layering for easy selection and material assignment. Users should ensure the pivot point is set to the base for precise placement against walls or within media wall assemblies. The brass elements and wood textures are mapped to standard shaders, allowing for quick adjustments to reflection or glossiness values. The model should be merged into a project scene using a consistent unit scale to ensure proper alignment with other interior assets.

Ideal for residential living rooms or formal entertainment spaces, this cabinet suits projects requiring a classic or transitional aesthetic. It pairs effectively with traditional interior styles, dark wood flooring, and neutral wall palettes. Architects and interior designers might search for this asset when specifying furniture for heritage-style homes, formal apartments, or classic study rooms. It provides a detailed, ready-to-use focal point for interior visualisations, particularly in residential design schemes that incorporate ornate or antique-style furnishings to add character and warmth.
