About this asset

This traditional armchair 3ds Max model features a dark wood frame with detailed rattan side panels and a blue damask fabric upholstery. This classic armchair showcases a refined silhouette, defined by a dark-stained timber frame and intricate natural rattan cane webbing on the back and side panels. The seat and backrest are fitted with plush cushions upholstered in a rich blue fabric featuring a subtle, tonal damask floral pattern. The turned front legs and gently curved armrests provide a sophisticated aesthetic, while the overall construction balances structural rigidity with decorative detail. The piece is designed as a standalone accent chair, suitable for formal living spaces or quiet reading corners where a touch of heritage style is required.

The download is a 42.1 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

For integration into 3ds Max scenes, this model is organised with logical layer naming to facilitate easy selection and material management. Users should check the scale upon insertion to ensure it aligns with standard project units. The texture maps for the damask fabric and rattan panels are provided, allowing for quick adjustments to tiling or bump intensity. For optimal results, apply a subtle noise or displacement modifier to the fabric to enhance the realism of the weave during final rendering passes.
