About this asset

This traditional black wood double bed for 3ds Max features a classic four-poster frame with elegant panelled detailing and layered bedding. Constructed with a deep black finish, this double bed features a tall, arched headboard and a matching footboard, both accented by subtle recessed panel detailing. The four corner posts are topped with decorative finials, lending a formal, traditional aesthetic to the piece. The bed is presented fully dressed with a layered textile ensemble, including two large white pillows, two smaller beige scatter cushions, and a draped throw blanket in neutral tones. The overall proportions suggest a robust, classic furniture design suitable for a master suite where a strong, grounded focal point is required.

The download is a 49.4 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

In 3ds Max, this model is organised with logical layer separation between the frame and the soft furnishings to simplify material adjustments. The geometry is clean, allowing for easy placement within a scene using standard snapping tools. Users should verify the scale against the project floor plan upon insertion. Materials are mapped for standard render workflows, with textures ready for adjustment to match specific interior lighting conditions or custom colour palettes required for high-end residential visualisation projects.

Ideal for master bedrooms in luxury residential developments, boutique hotel suites, or classic interior design projects, this bed pairs well with dark wood nightstands and neutral wall treatments. Professionals often search for this asset when creating traditional or transitional bedroom scenes that require a sense of permanence and comfort. It serves as a strong anchor piece in visualisations, working effectively alongside area rugs, floor lamps, and complementary drapery to establish a cohesive, high-quality aesthetic for client presentations or marketing collateral.
