About this asset

This traditional 3-seater sofa in beige fabric and carved dark wood is a 3ds Max model featuring a classic silhouette and decorative cushions. This traditional three-seater sofa features a substantial, dark-stained carved wood frame that follows the serpentine curves of the backrest and apron. The upholstery is a neutral, textured beige fabric, accented by nailhead trim along the armrests and base. The piece includes a set of decorative throw cushions in varied colours and patterns, including solid mustard, dark navy, and a patterned neutral textile, along with a draped navy throw blanket. The proportions are generous, with a high, arched back and tapered, turned legs that ground the ornate frame structure.

The download is a 9.9 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

In 3ds Max, this model is organised into logical layers for easy manipulation of the cushions and the base frame. Users should ensure the pivot point is set to the base center for straightforward placement within a floor plan. Materials are mapped with standard texture coordinates; applying an HDRI environment map in the scene will help catch the highlights on the wood frame and provide realistic depth to the fabric folds and cushion volumes during rendering.
