About this asset

This contemporary platform double bed is a SketchUp model featuring a custom headboard with a graphic print of The Beatles. The assembly comprises a low-profile platform base constructed from raw timber, providing a rustic foundation for the sleeping area. A secondary, elevated dark grey plinth supports the mattress, creating a tiered effect that defines the bed's footprint. The focal point is a large, integrated vertical headboard panel featuring a high-contrast black-and-white silhouette graphic of The Beatles. The bed is dressed with simple white linens and a neutral grey throw, maintaining a clean aesthetic that allows the bold graphic headboard to serve as the primary design statement within the bedroom environment.

The download is a 7.5 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

Within SketchUp, this model is organised into logical groups, allowing for easy selection and modification of the platform, mattress, and headboard components. Users should ensure the model is scaled correctly to match project dimensions before placement. Materials are applied as standard textures; these can be adjusted or replaced via the materials tray to suit specific interior schemes. The geometry is lightweight, making it suitable for quick visualisation tasks or as a placeholder in conceptual bedroom layouts where a distinct thematic element is required.

This piece is specifically designed for themed residential interiors, music-focused bedrooms, or teenage living spaces where a bold, personality-driven aesthetic is desired. It pairs effectively with minimalist furniture to balance the visual weight of the graphic headboard. Professionals searching for feature beds, custom bedroom furniture, or thematic decor for hospitality projects will find this model useful. It is best placed against a neutral wall to ensure the graphic remains the primary visual anchor without competing with other complex interior elements.
