Terrazzo and Glass Integrated Kitchen Island Dining Set

This contemporary 3ds Max model features a monolithic terrazzo kitchen island seamlessly integrated with a glass-topped dining table. This set combines a heavy, block-style kitchen island finished in high-contrast black and white terrazzo with a slender, transparent glass dining table extension. The island incorporates a flush-mounted sink and minimalist faucet fixtures. Six dining chairs with slim metal frames and contrasting seat colours are arranged along the table length. The design plays with the juxtaposition of the massive, textured stone-look island and the lightweight, ethereal quality of the glass table surface, creating a sculptural focal point suitable for open-plan living environments that require a unified aesthetic for both cooking and dining functions.

The download is a 21.5 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model holding 7 separate objects, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

In 3ds Max, this model is organised with logical layer structures for the island, table, and seating components, allowing for easy selection and material overrides. Users should ensure the glass transparency settings and terrazzo bump maps are correctly mapped upon import to maintain visual fidelity. The scale should be verified against the project floor plan, as the integrated nature of the unit requires precise alignment with surrounding kitchen cabinetry or floor finishes to ensure a seamless transition between the work and dining zones.
