About this asset

This rustic wall clock, provided as a 3ds Max model, features a natural-wood plank suspended within a slim, black circular metal frame. Defined by its raw material contrast, this wall clock centers a textured, live-edge timber plank within a minimalist circular metal ring. The wood grain shows distinct natural variations, providing an organic focal point against the dark, matte finish of the surrounding frame. Simple, slender hands are mounted directly onto the central timber section, maintaining a clean aesthetic. The design balances industrial geometry with the warmth of unfinished wood, creating a tactile presence suitable for interior feature walls. Its proportions are balanced, making it a versatile piece for various wall-mounted applications.

The download is a 2.8 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

When integrating this model into 3ds Max, ensure the pivot point is correctly aligned to the wall surface for easy placement. Users should check the scale against scene units to maintain realistic proportions. The timber texture map may require minor UV adjustments depending on the desired grain orientation. It is recommended to apply a separate material ID for the metal frame and the wood plank to allow for independent refinement of reflection and glossiness values within the render setup.

This piece works well in rustic, industrial, or wabi-sabi interiors, serving as a statement wall feature in living rooms, hallways, or boutique retail spaces. Designers often pair it with exposed brick, textured plaster, or dark-toned wall cladding to enhance its natural aesthetic. Professionals searching for decorative timepieces, wood-and-metal accents, or rustic wall art will find this asset highly effective for adding character to residential or hospitality projects where a blend of modern simplicity and organic texture is required.
