About this asset

This contemporary SketchUp model features a taupe sliding door wardrobe with integrated metal shelving and hanging rails for organised storage. This large-scale storage unit features a minimalist, contemporary aesthetic with a matte taupe finish across its exterior panels. The design incorporates a smooth sliding door mechanism, revealing a highly functional interior layout. The configuration includes two distinct vertical sections: one side is dedicated to garment hanging with double-tier rails, while the central section provides open shelving for folded items and two built-in drawers at the base for smaller accessories. Horizontal metal detailing runs across the door faces, providing a subtle contrast to the neutral finish and enhancing the clean, linear geometry of the piece.

The download is a 13 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

To integrate this unit into a SketchUp scene, place the component directly against a wall surface. The model is structured into groups for the sliding doors and internal carcass, allowing for easy adjustment or animation of the door position. Apply custom materials to the main panels to match the interior palette, ensuring the texture mapping is adjusted for the large surface areas. Use the component's axes to snap the unit precisely into corners or alcoves within your residential bedroom floor plans.

Ideal for high-end residential master bedrooms, walk-in closets, and dressing rooms, this wardrobe provides a versatile storage solution for modern interior design schemes. It pairs well with neutral palettes, soft recessed lighting, and minimalist bedroom furniture. Professionals searching for bedroom cabinetry, closet organisation systems, or contemporary storage solutions will find this model effective for visualising functional, space-efficient layouts. It is suitable for use in detailed interior design presentations and residential renovation projects where a clean, built-in appearance is required for client approval.
