About this asset

This contemporary tan leather bench for SketchUp features a tufted upholstered seat supported by a slim black metal frame. The bench features a rectangular, tufted seat upholstered in a textured tan leather that suggests a worn, vintage-inspired finish. The seat is segmented into five distinct cushions, providing a structured yet comfortable appearance. It rests on a simple, minimalist black metal base with short, discreet legs. The proportions are low and elongated, making it suitable for compact spaces where seating is required without visual bulk. The combination of the warm leather tone and the stark black metal frame creates a balanced contrast that fits well within a wide range of modern and contemporary interior design schemes.

The download is a 3.9 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

To integrate this bench into your SketchUp project, import the component and use the native scale tool to adjust its dimensions to your specific floor plan requirements. Ensure the model is placed on a dedicated layer for seating to maintain scene organisation. You can easily swap the leather texture within the materials panel if you need to coordinate the finish with other upholstery in your room, or use the paint bucket tool to quickly apply new colours to the metal frame parts.

This piece is ideal for residential entryways, walk-in wardrobes, or end-of-bed seating in a master bedroom. It also functions well in commercial settings, such as boutique retail fitting rooms, hotel lobbies, or modern waiting areas. Designers searching for low-profile seating or accent benches will find this model versatile for both minimalist and industrial-styled interiors. It pairs effectively with clean-lined consoles, wall-mounted mirrors, or as a standalone piece in a hallway, providing a functional yet refined seating solution for various project stages.
