Silver Metal Refractor Telescope on Tripod, On Tripod Stand

This 3ds Max model of a silver metal refractor telescope on a tripod features a detailed optical tube and adjustable stand. This refractor-style telescope features a slender, metallic silver optical tube mounted on a black-accented tripod stand. The assembly includes a main objective lens housing, a smaller finderscope mounted to the top, and an eyepiece section at the rear. The tripod base is constructed with three adjustable telescopic legs, braced by a central accessory tray for stability. The contrast between the polished silver finish of the barrel and the matte black plastic components—such as the adjustment knobs, mounts, and leg tips—provides a clean, technical aesthetic suitable for contemporary interior compositions.

The download is a 12.2 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

When integrating this model into a 3ds Max scene, ensure the object pivot is centred at the base of the tripod for ease of placement on surfaces such as desks or floors. Users should manage the metallic and plastic materials via the material editor to adjust reflections and specular highlights to match the specific lighting environment of the project. The model is scaled for standard interior use, though checking units upon import is recommended to ensure accurate proportioning relative to other furniture assets.

Ideal for styling residential studies, home offices, or libraries, this telescope acts as a sophisticated focal point for high-end interior visualisations. It pairs effectively with dark wood desks, leather armchairs, or minimalist shelving units to create a scholarly, intellectual atmosphere. Professionals searching for scientific or hobby-related decor will find this piece useful for adding character to masculine room schemes, penthouse living areas, or educational spaces where a touch of technical curiosity is required to complete the narrative of the interior design.
