Scandinavian Natural Wood Spindle-Back Dining Chair with Cushion

This Scandinavian-style natural wood spindle-back dining chair for 3ds Max features a curved top rail and a striped fabric seat cushion. Constructed from light-toned natural wood, this dining chair exhibits classic spindle-back geometry. The design features a curved, ergonomic top rail supported by slender vertical spindles that transition into the seat frame. Tapered legs provide stability, reinforced by a simple H-frame stretcher assembly. A square seat cushion with a bold black-and-white striped fabric pattern rests on the wooden seat base, adding texture and contrast to the minimalist frame. The proportions are balanced, making it a versatile piece for contemporary dining settings where clean lines and functional craftsmanship are the primary aesthetic drivers.

The download is a 7.2 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

In 3ds Max, this model is organised with logical layer naming to facilitate efficient scene management. Users can easily adjust the material parameters for the wood finish or swap the fabric texture on the cushion to match specific project requirements. Because the geometry is clean, it is straightforward to instance the chair for large dining table arrangements. Ensure the mesh is scaled correctly to the scene units before populating the interior, as this will prevent issues with subsequent light mapping or material application.
