Contemporary Yellow Fabric Living Room Furniture Scene

This contemporary living room scene for SketchUp features a yellow fabric sofa, armchairs, a coffee table, and a rug. This furniture arrangement comprises a pair of yellow fabric sofas with white metal frame bases, accompanied by two white armchairs featuring dark wooden legs. A low, oval-shaped white coffee table sits centrally upon a patterned yellow and white rug. The set also includes a slim black floor lamp, providing a minimalist lighting accent. The seating pieces are styled with decorative cushions in complementary geometric patterns. The overall composition is clean-lined and functional, with consistent proportions that suit modern open-plan living spaces. Each element is modelled as a distinct asset within the scene.

The download is a 10.2 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

To integrate this scene into a SketchUp project, import the file as a component and explode the group to manage individual furniture pieces. The assets are organised by layers, allowing for easy selection, scaling, or substitution of materials. Apply high-resolution textures to the fabric surfaces to enhance realism in renders. Use the native SketchUp move and rotate tools to adjust the layout to fit specific room dimensions. Ensure the components are placed on a flat surface to maintain proper contact with the floor plane.

Ideal for residential interior design, this furniture set is perfectly suited for styling modern living room visualisations or hotel lobby proposals. The vibrant yellow upholstery serves as a focal point in neutral-toned interiors, pairing well with light oak flooring or industrial-style concrete finishes. Designers often use this collection when creating quick, high-impact concepts for client presentations in SketchUp.
