About this asset

This Scandinavian 3ds Max bed features a natural wood frame with an integrated rattan headboard and includes a full bedding set. Defined by clean lines and organic textures, this double bed features a solid timber frame finished in a warm natural wood tone. The standout element is the rectangular headboard, which showcases a sophisticated cane webbing or rattan insert framed in matching wood. The bed comes dressed with a minimalist mattress and a collection of layered cushions in neutral white and grey shades, providing a soft contrast to the structured frame. The low-profile base maintains a light, airy aesthetic, making it an ideal choice for interiors that prioritise comfort, natural materials, and functional, uncluttered design principles.

The download is a 44.6 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

In 3ds Max, this model is organised into logical layers for easy manipulation of the bedding and frame components. Users should ensure their scene scale is set to millimetres to maintain accurate proportions upon merging. The materials are pre-assigned, though users may need to re-link texture paths if they are moved. Lighting setups should be adjusted to highlight the intricate texture of the rattan headboard, utilising soft global illumination to capture the warmth of the wood and the softness of the fabric textiles.

This piece is perfectly suited for modern residential master bedrooms or high-end boutique hotel suites where a natural, calming atmosphere is desired.
