Off-White Rectangular Fabric Rug with Charcoal Square Pattern

This contemporary rectangular rug for SketchUp features an off-white base with a repeating charcoal square pattern in a flat pile. This floor covering presents a clean, contemporary aesthetic suitable for modern interiors. The rug is rectangular in form, featuring a light off-white or cream base fabric contrasted by a sparse, uniform grid of dark charcoal square motifs. The pile appears short and dense, providing a flat, structured surface that integrates well with various flooring types, from dark timber to polished concrete. Its proportions are balanced, designed to anchor a seating area or bedroom space without overwhelming the surrounding furniture. The edges are finished with a clean, low-profile hem, ensuring a seamless transition between the rug and the floor.

The download is a 106 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

When incorporating this asset into a SketchUp scene, place the component directly onto the floor plane, ensuring it is positioned slightly above the surface to prevent Z-fighting. Use the scale tool to adjust the overall dimensions to fit specific room layouts while maintaining the aspect ratio of the geometric pattern. The texture mapping is pre-applied, allowing for immediate integration into your render engine of choice. If the pattern density requires adjustment, modify the texture tiling within the material editor settings to suit your project scale.
