About this asset

This Scandinavian dining set for 3ds Max features a rectangular wood table, four woven-seat chairs, and a matching rattan pendant light. This dining set comprises a simple rectangular table with rounded corners and four iconic wishbone-style chairs featuring curved backrests and woven seats. The material palette consists of light-toned natural wood throughout, complemented by the organic texture of the seat cords. A matching dome-shaped rattan pendant light is suspended above the table, providing a cohesive aesthetic. The ensemble includes small decorative elements like a floral vase and coffee cups, which add a sense of lived-in realism to the composition. The proportions are balanced, adhering to classic mid-century inspired Scandinavian design principles.

The download is a 40.5 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model holding 5 separate objects, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

To integrate this set into a 3ds Max scene, use the merge command to import the assets into your master file. The models are organised by object type, allowing for easy selection and material adjustment if required. Ensure the pivot points are set at the base of the legs for accurate placement on floor planes. For optimal results, apply custom materials to the wood surfaces to match your specific scene lighting and use the provided pendant light as a proxy for your final illumination setup.

This set is ideal for contemporary residential dining rooms, open-plan kitchen spaces, or boutique cafe interiors. Its clean, light-wood aesthetic works well in projects targeting a minimalist or Japandi look.
