About this asset

This Scandinavian 2-seater sofa, modelled for 3ds Max, features a clean-lined light wood frame paired with soft cream fabric upholstery. Defined by its minimalist aesthetic, this 2-seater sofa showcases a balanced interplay between a structured timber base and plush, inviting seating elements. The frame is crafted from natural light-toned wood, providing a sturdy foundation that elevates the upholstered components. Two distinct seat cushions and a matching backrest are wrapped in a neutral cream fabric, offering a soft visual contrast to the exposed wood grain. Its proportions are compact yet comfortable, making it an ideal choice for smaller living areas or boutique hospitality settings where a clean, uncluttered look is required.

The download is a 48.2 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

When integrating this 3ds Max model into a scene, ensure the object is placed on a level floor plane to maintain proper contact with the geometry. The fabric and wood textures should be managed via the material editor, allowing for adjustments to bump maps or reflection parameters to match the specific lighting conditions of your render. Users may find it beneficial to group the individual cushion and frame elements to simplify scene management and enable easier scaling or repositioning within a larger interior design project.

This sofa works well in contemporary residential living rooms, studio apartments, and minimalist office reception areas. It pairs effortlessly with light oak furniture, neutral area rugs, and indoor plants to create a calm, Scandi-inspired environment. Interior designers frequently search for this type of clean-lined seating when planning projects that require a balance of warmth and functionality. It functions as a versatile anchor piece, suitable for both modern and rustic interior design schemes, ensuring a timeless look that avoids excessive ornamentation or complex detailing.
