This IES LM-63 photometric file provides precise light distribution data for the Lithonia LDN4 4-inch round LED wall-wash downlight. The Lithonia LDN4 series is a high-performance 4-inch round LED downlight engineered specifically for wall-wash applications. This technical dataset represents the photometric characteristics of the LDN4 27/02 LW4 WR configuration. It captures the unique light distribution profile required to achieve uniform illumination on vertical surfaces while maintaining a clean, recessed ceiling appearance. The file contains the necessary intensity distribution data, including candela values and luminaire efficiency, which are critical for accurate lighting design and energy calculations within architectural software environments to ensure correct light levels and distribution patterns.

The download is a single file containing .IES files.

Lighting designers and electrical engineers load this IES file directly into their lighting simulation or BIM software to accurately model the luminaire's light output. By assigning this profile to a light source object in a 3D scene, professionals can simulate real-world light spread, intensity, and beam characteristics. This allows for precise calculation of illuminance levels on walls and floor planes during the design development phase, ensuring the selected fixture meets project-specific lighting requirements and performance criteria.

This photometric data is essential for interior design projects requiring uniform vertical surface illumination, such as highlighting artwork, textured wall finishes, or architectural features. It is commonly utilized in residential, high-end office, and retail showroom environments where light quality and precise distribution are paramount. Architects and MEP consultants use these files during the schematic and design development stages to verify lighting layouts, ensuring that the LDN4 downlight effectively achieves the desired ambiance and functional light levels for the intended space.
