About this asset

This Scandinavian-style double bed SketchUp model features a curved rattan headboard and includes a pair of matching nightstands. This double bed features a distinct, curved headboard constructed from natural rattan cane, providing a textured, organic aesthetic. The frame is finished in a light natural wood tone, complementing the soft, neutral-toned bedding. Included in the set are two minimalist, cylindrical nightstands that provide a clean, geometric contrast to the tactile headboard. The bedding assembly includes pillows and a layered throw, offering a realistic drape and soft-surface detail. The proportions are balanced, making this assembly suitable for contemporary master suites or guest bedrooms where a warm, light, and airy atmosphere is desired.

The download is a 16.8 MB file containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model holding 3 separate objects. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

When integrating this model into a SketchUp scene, place the bed assembly as a single component or group to maintain object organisation. Users should check the local axis of the model to ensure proper rotation and alignment against bedroom walls. The materials are applied as standard textures, allowing for easy adjustment of the wood grain or fabric colours within the material editor. For optimal performance, keep the model on a dedicated layer to toggle visibility during the drafting phase of the project.

Ideal for residential interior design projects, this bed set works well in master bedrooms, guest suites, or boutique hotel room visualisations. It pairs effectively with natural timber flooring, linen curtains, and soft ambient lighting to reinforce a calm, minimalist aesthetic.
