About this asset

This contemporary lounge chair set for 3ds Max features sage green fabric upholstery paired with a curved rattan backrest frame. This set includes two tub-style lounge chairs and a small geometric side table. Each chair features a curved backrest wrapped in natural rattan cane webbing, supported by a slim, black-painted metal frame that extends into tapered legs. The seat and inner back are upholstered in a soft sage green fabric, providing a balanced contrast between the organic texture of the cane and the sleek metal structure. The accompanying side table echoes the chair's aesthetic with a minimalist metal base and a dark, low-profile top, creating a cohesive seating ensemble for lounge or reception areas.

The download is a 22.3 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model holding 2 separate objects, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

In 3ds Max, this model is organised with clear layer separation, allowing for easy adjustment of the upholstery and metal frame materials. Users can map high-resolution textures to the rattan cane to enhance realism in close-up renders. The chairs and table are grouped as a single set, which can be easily ungrouped for individual placement. Ensure the pivot points are correctly aligned to the floor plane before merging into your primary scene to maintain accurate scale and positioning within your architectural environment.

These lounge chairs are suited for residential living rooms, boutique hotel lobbies, or modern office break-out spaces. Their compact footprint makes them ideal for creating intimate seating nooks or conversational groupings in tight floor plans. Designers often specify these pieces when seeking a blend of mid-century influence and contemporary materiality. They pair effectively with minimalist rugs and neutral interior palettes.
