Industrial Black Metal Sliding Door Set with Arched Glazing

This industrial sliding door set for SketchUp features four black metal frames with arched glass panels and a sliding track system. This set includes four distinct door panels constructed from a slim black metal frame, designed in a contemporary industrial aesthetic. Each unit features a lower solid metal panel with a recessed rectangular moulding, topped by a large glazed section. The upper portion of the glass is finished with a decorative arched muntin detail, mimicking traditional fanlight styles. The entire assembly is suspended from a robust, linear overhead sliding track system with exposed rollers, allowing for fluid horizontal movement. The proportions are tall and slender, suited for high-ceilinged spaces requiring flexible room division.

The download is a 14.3 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model holding 4 separate objects. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

To integrate these doors into a SketchUp scene, import the component and align the sliding track assembly with the desired structural opening. Use the native move tool to position the doors along the track axis, ensuring the rollers are properly aligned with the rail. Given the modular nature of the set, individual panels can be repositioned or duplicated to fit varying wall lengths. Apply custom glass materials to the panes if specific transparency or reflection settings are required for your render engine.

These sliding doors are ideal for residential open-plan living areas, high-end office boardrooms, or commercial retail partitions where a sophisticated industrial look is required. They serve effectively as flexible room dividers that maintain visual connectivity while providing acoustic separation. Designers often specify these for loft conversions or modern studio apartments to zone spaces without permanent wall construction. Pair these with minimalist interior palettes, exposed brickwork, or polished concrete floors to complete the aesthetic in contemporary, luxury, or industrial-themed architectural projects.
