About this asset

This rustic SketchUp model features a modular pallet-style L-shaped sofa set with a matching coffee table and two upholstered stools. Constructed from stacked timber planks, this sofa set captures a raw, industrial-inspired aesthetic suitable for informal lounge spaces. The L-shaped sofa base is paired with a matching square coffee table that features a central recessed detail. Two compact, cube-shaped stools accompany the arrangement, each topped with a light grey cushion. The primary sofa seating is defined by thick, vibrant blue back and seat cushions, creating a distinct contrast against the warm, natural wood grain of the pallet framework. The set provides a cohesive, casual seating arrangement for relaxed interior or exterior environments.

The download is a 5.9 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model holding 4 separate objects. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

This SketchUp asset is organised into logical groups for easy manipulation. Users can quickly scale the components to fit specific floor plans or modify the wood texture mapping to suit different species. When placing this into a scene, ensure the components are correctly aligned on the floor plane. The cushions are modelled as separate entities, allowing for easy material swaps or colour adjustments using the native paint bucket tool to match the specific project palette during early-stage visualisations.

Ideal for residential garden designs, rooftop terraces, or casual hospitality break-out areas, this set adds a relaxed, DIY-inspired touch to any project. It pairs well with decking or stone paving and works effectively in mid-construction visualisations where a lived-in, informal atmosphere is required. Designers often search for this type of furniture when specifying sustainable or repurposed-style elements for outdoor living spaces, backyard patio layouts, or relaxed cafe seating areas that require a modular, flexible configuration for guests.
