About this asset

This 3ds Max model features a rustic dining set with a live-edge wooden table, a fabric-upholstered chair, and a raw timber stool. This dining arrangement centres on a substantial rectangular table featuring a prominent live-edge wood slab top with visible grain and knots, supported by a minimalist white base. Accompanying the table is a contemporary dining chair with a curved wooden frame and textured fabric seating, providing a contrast to the organic form of the table. A small, raw-cut timber stool, shaped like a tree stump, serves as an additional seating element. The set includes subtle decorative accessories, specifically a small potted plant and a ceramic bowl, which complete the composition.

The download is a 39.3 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model holding 3 separate objects, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

In 3ds Max, this set is organised for efficient scene integration, allowing for easy placement and rotation as a consolidated unit or as individual components. Users can adjust the material parameters to refine the wood grain textures and fabric bump maps to suit specific lighting conditions. The geometry is clean, facilitating straightforward scaling and material assignment. Proper grouping within the layer manager is recommended to maintain a tidy scene file when merging these assets into larger interior visualisations or architectural projects.

This set is suited for residential interior projects, particularly in dining nooks, open-plan kitchen areas, or breakfast corners. Its rustic, organic aesthetic pairs well with wabi-sabi or contemporary farmhouse design schemes. Professionals would search for this asset when looking to add character to a dining room, a casual kitchen workspace, or a feature corner in a high-end project. It complements minimalist interiors by providing a natural, textured focal point that balances cleaner, more rigid architectural lines within a space.
