Parametric Wooden Circular Tree Bench with Planter

This parametric circular tree bench 3ds Max scene features a layered timber construction surrounding a central planted area. Constructed from a series of vertical timber slats, this circular bench creates a fluid, organic form suitable for wrapping around a tree or central feature. The design utilises a parametric approach to define the curved silhouette, with each slat spaced evenly to create a rhythmic, textured appearance. The central void is designed as a planter, complete with integrated grass and various succulent-style plants. The warm natural wood finish contrasts with the vibrant green foliage, providing a balanced aesthetic that integrates soft landscaping with structured, architectural seating elements.

The download is a 46.6 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) scene, set up with V-Ray materials. Open it in 3ds Max with V-Ray installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

Users can import this 3ds Max scene directly into larger landscape or masterplan files. The geometry is organised to allow for easy scaling or adjustment of the central void to accommodate different tree trunk diameters. Materials are applied as standard, allowing for quick modification of the wood grain or species via the material editor. The foliage is provided as distinct elements, enabling the user to swap or adjust the planting density depending on the specific project requirements and visual style.

Ideal for urban plazas, public parks, and high-end residential courtyards, this bench serves as a focal point in landscape architecture projects. It is well-suited for site plans requiring inclusive, circular seating that encourages social interaction around greenery. Designers looking for modern street furniture or garden features will find this asset useful for both concept design and final visualisations. It pairs effectively with contemporary paving materials and minimalist hardscape design, appearing frequently in searches for public realm seating and tree-surround furniture.
