About this asset

This rustic dining set for 3ds Max features a timber table and six chairs with rattan backrests and upholstered seat cushions. This dining set comprises a substantial rectangular table with turned legs and six matching dining chairs. The table is crafted from dark-stained timber, exhibiting a prominent grain pattern consistent with a rustic aesthetic. Each chair features a curved, open-weave rattan backrest, providing texture and visual lightness. The seats are upholstered in a dark fabric, offering a subtle contrast to the warm wood tones. The set is presented as a complete assembly, suitable for immediate placement in a dining room or open-plan living space that requires a traditional, tactile focal point.

The download is a 17.4 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model holding 7 separate objects, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

To integrate this set into a 3ds Max project, import the file and collapse the geometry if necessary for scene optimization. The chairs are typically instanced for efficient memory management; maintain these instances to simplify material adjustments across the set. Ensure the pivot point for each chair is set to the base for easy placement around the table. Apply high-resolution textures to the timber and rattan surfaces to maintain detail in close-up renders, and adjust the lighting to highlight the varied material finishes.

This dining set is well-suited for residential projects, particularly within farmhouse, rustic, or transitional interior designs. It serves as an ideal centrepiece for formal dining rooms or spacious kitchen-diner layouts. Designers often pair this furniture with natural textures, such as linen curtains or woven rugs, to enhance the organic feel. The set is frequently used in visualisations for hospitality venues, including country-style restaurants, boutique hotels, or cafes, where creating a warm, welcoming atmosphere is essential for the overall project narrative.
