About this asset

This contemporary charcoal leather ottoman 3ds Max model features a low-profile square form with distinct tufted panel detailing. Designed with a low, square silhouette, this ottoman is upholstered in a dark charcoal leather that exhibits a soft, natural grain and subtle tension lines around the seams. The surface is divided into a grid of tufted squares, creating a structured yet plush appearance. Its compact, floor-hugging proportions provide a versatile seating or footrest solution. The stitching is precise, following the panel lines to define the geometric composition, while the overall finish suggests a high-quality, matte leather texture suitable for sophisticated interior schemes requiring a balance of comfort and clean-lined contemporary aesthetics.

The download is a 2.1 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

When working in 3ds Max, this model is best utilised by importing it into your scene via merge. Ensure the pivot point is set to the base for easy alignment with floor surfaces. Since the leather material is defined by its texture mapping, verify that your UV coordinates are scaled correctly for your specific project environment. You can easily adjust the leather's glossiness or bump intensity within the material editor to suit your lighting conditions and render engine requirements.

This piece is ideal for residential living rooms, boutique hotel lobbies, or executive lounge areas where a low-profile seating element is needed. It works well as a central footrest paired with modular sofas or as a standalone piece in a reading nook. Professionals searching for a square leather pouf or a tufted footstool will find this asset fits seamlessly into modern or contemporary design projects, adding texture and a grounded, masculine touch to any interior space.
