Rectangular Walnut Framed Photographic Wall Art

This 3ds Max model features a rectangular wall art piece with a walnut-finished timber frame and a high-contrast monochrome photograph. The piece consists of a minimalist rectangular frame constructed from dark-toned timber with a warm walnut finish. It houses a high-contrast black and white photographic print depicting a close-up portrait subject. The composition focuses on lighting and shadow, capturing a silhouette-like aesthetic. The frame profile is simple and clean, designed to sit flush against a wall surface. The glazing is clear, providing a neutral finish that allows the subject matter to remain the focal point. The assembly is lightweight, suitable for placement on various interior wall types without requiring complex structural support.

The download is a 215 KB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

In 3ds Max, this asset is provided as a straightforward geometry set. Users should check the pivot point upon merging to ensure it aligns with the back plane for easy wall attachment. The material slots are clearly defined, allowing for quick adjustments to the frame's finish or the image map. Standard scaling can be applied to fit specific wall elevations, and the model is lightweight enough to be duplicated across multiple scenes without significantly impacting viewport performance or render times.

This wall art is well-suited for adding character to residential living rooms, bedrooms, or modern hotel suites. It complements contemporary interior styles, particularly those featuring wood accents or monochromatic colour palettes. Designers often use such assets in high-end projects to create focal points or to dress blank walls in lounge areas and corridors. It pairs effectively with minimalist furniture and neutral wall treatments, providing a sophisticated aesthetic that enhances the overall mood of the space through its dramatic photographic subject.
