Rectangular Grey Concrete Planter with Succulents

This 3ds Max model features a modern rectangular concrete planter filled with a dense cluster of textured green succulents and stone. The asset comprises a linear, trough-style planter constructed from grey concrete with a subtle, distressed surface texture. Inside the vessel, a layer of small, light-coloured decorative stones serves as a base for an arrangement of trailing, spiky succulents. The foliage is modelled with significant detail, showing individual leaf structures and a deep green hue that contrasts against the industrial aesthetic of the pot. Its proportions are elongated, making it suitable for placement on console tables, window ledges, or as a central feature in a modern interior scheme requiring low-maintenance greenery.

The download is an 11.7 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

In 3ds Max, this model is managed as a single object group. Users should ensure the textures are correctly mapped upon insertion, particularly for the concrete finish and the stone substrate. The foliage is dense, so standard viewport display settings might require adjustment for smooth navigation. It is best placed as a proxy or reference in larger scenes to maintain performance, with lighting adjusted to highlight the natural variation in the plant textures and the matte finish of the concrete container.

This planter is well-suited for contemporary residential living areas, office reception counters, or hotel lobby consoles. It integrates seamlessly into minimalist or industrial-style interiors where a touch of organic texture is needed to soften clean, hard surfaces. Professionals often search for this type of asset when detailing interior vignettes or adding life to architectural visualisations. It pairs effectively with stone or wooden surfaces and works well in both bright, sunlit spaces and more muted, atmospheric commercial project environments.
