About this asset

This rectangular glass aquarium SketchUp model features a minimalist black frame and detailed aquascaping with stone elements. This set includes two rectangular glass aquarium tanks designed for interior visualisation. Each unit is constructed with clear glass panes and a sleek, minimalist black base frame. The interior of the tanks is curated with textured grey stone formations, dark substrate, and aquatic flora, providing a realistic aesthetic for professional renders. The composition is balanced and clean, suitable for high-end residential or commercial lobby projects. The set offers a versatile solution for adding life and visual interest to architectural scenes without the complexity of modelling individual aquatic elements from scratch.

The download is a 52.3 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model holding 2 separate objects. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

In SketchUp, these models are best handled as components or groups to maintain scene performance. Users should place the tanks on a flat surface or custom joinery, ensuring the glass materials are correctly oriented for transparency. The model can be scaled to fit specific alcoves or shelving units. For rendering, apply appropriate glass properties to the panes and adjust the lighting to simulate the refractive qualities of water within the tank environment for a more convincing final output.

These aquarium units are ideal for luxury residential living rooms, modern office reception areas, or high-end retail showrooms where a calming, natural focal point is required. They pair effectively with bespoke cabinetry, console tables, or custom millwork installations. Professionals searching for detailed interior props will find these useful for enhancing the atmosphere of contemporary spaces. Whether designing a minimalist apartment or a professional workspace, these assets add a layer of sophisticated detail to any interior project requiring refined decorative elements.
