About this asset

This minimalist rectangular black wall art frame for 3ds Max features a clean profile suitable for contemporary interior compositions. This wall art frame is defined by a thin, understated black border that provides a neutral surround for artwork. The piece is designed to be mounted flush against wall surfaces, offering a slim profile that does not overwhelm the visual field. Its proportions are vertical, making it a versatile choice for various interior settings. The model includes the frame structure and a placeholder art print, allowing for immediate placement in scenes. The construction is simple and industrial in feel, focusing on clean lines and a monochromatic aesthetic that integrates easily into diverse design schemes.

The download is a 32.1 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

When working in 3ds Max, this model can be easily scaled to fit specific wall areas or composition requirements. Users should apply their own high-resolution texture maps to the interior surface to customise the artwork. The frame is organised into logical layers, allowing for separate adjustment of the border material and the image plane. Proper placement involves aligning the object against vertical surfaces using snapping tools to ensure it sits flush for realistic render results in architectural visualisations.

Ideal for residential living rooms, bedrooms, and home office spaces, this frame serves as an essential component for styling interior scenes. It works well when grouped in a gallery wall arrangement or placed individually above console tables and sideboards. Designers frequently utilise this asset to add character to empty walls in hospitality projects, such as hotel rooms or restaurant dining areas, where a touch of curated art enhances the overall atmosphere without requiring complex geometry or heavy scene management.
