About this asset

This bohemian-style SketchUp model features a woven rattan rocking chair accompanied by a minimalist side table and cushions. The set comprises a high-backed rocking chair crafted from bent rattan, featuring an intricate lattice weave on the backrest and curved armrests. The chair is accessorised with two square scatter cushions in contrasting black and white fabric. Beside it sits a compact side table with a circular top and a tapered, conical pedestal base, finished in a neutral tone. The organic texture of the rattan provides a tactile contrast to the smooth, solid form of the table, creating a balanced composition suitable for relaxed interior vignettes or conservatory-style living spaces.

The download is a 9.3 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model holding 2 separate objects. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

In SketchUp, this model is organised into distinct components for the chair and table, allowing for easy placement and repositioning within a scene. Users should check the component axes to ensure correct orientation on the floor plane. The textures are mapped to standard geometry; applying high-resolution material overrides or adjusting the opacity of the weave can enhance realism for close-up renders. Ensure the model is scaled appropriately to fit the surrounding furniture, as the base units may require adjustment to match specific project dimensions.

This set is ideal for residential projects, particularly in sunrooms, nurseries, or casual reading nooks where a relaxed, natural aesthetic is desired. It also functions well in hospitality settings like boutique hotel lobbies or café lounge areas. Professionals searching for boho-chic accents or natural-material furniture will find this an effective addition to their library. It pairs seamlessly with indoor greenery, jute rugs, and soft, layered textiles to complete a warm, inviting atmosphere in both contemporary and traditional home design schemes.
