About this asset

This SketchUp decor set provides a collection of various indoor potted plants and glass jars, ideal for detailed interior styling. This collection includes ten distinct decorative elements featuring a mix of potted indoor plants, glass storage jars, and a small stack of books. The foliage varies from broad-leafed species to fern-like textures, housed in a range of clean-lined white ceramic pots and transparent glass vessels with black labels. The set also features wall-mounted planters, offering versatility for different surfaces. The items are designed with simple, contemporary aesthetics, focusing on natural greens contrasted against neutral white and glass materials, providing a balanced look suitable for diverse interior design schemes.

The download is a 44 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model holding 10 separate objects. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

In SketchUp, these assets are organized as individual components, allowing for easy placement and rotation within a scene. Users can scale the plants to suit specific interior proportions or swap materials on the pots to match a project's colour palette. It is recommended to place these on a separate layer to manage file performance during the design process, and to use native lighting settings to capture the intended shadows cast by the leaves and containers.

These decorative elements are well-suited for residential living rooms, home offices, and hospitality reception areas. They work effectively when styled on shelving units, console tables, or windowsills to add life and visual interest to a space. Architects and interior designers frequently use such sets during the final rendering stages to populate scenes and add a sense of lived-in authenticity. They pair naturally with modern furniture, minimalist joinery, and timber surfaces, helping to soften rigid architectural lines in professional visualizations.
