Contemporary Natural Wood and Metal Dining Set in Black

This contemporary 3ds Max dining set features a live-edge natural wood table supported by stone pedestals and six minimalist chairs. This dining set comprises a large rectangular table with a prominent live-edge wood top, finished with a dark, polished surface that contrasts with the raw, textured bark edges. The table is supported by two substantial, rough-hewn stone columns, creating a striking material juxtaposition. Six matching chairs accompany the set, featuring a refined metal frame with a dark finish, clean geometric lines, and integrated white seat cushions. The arrangement includes a curated collection of tabletop accessories, such as a ceramic vase with decorative branches, a small tea service tray, and assorted stationary items, enhancing the organic, contemplative aesthetic of the composition.

The download is an 8.6 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model holding 7 separate objects, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

When integrating this set into a 3ds Max scene, use the native object grouping to manage the chair and table components efficiently. Ensure the pivot points are correctly aligned at the base for easy placement on floor surfaces. Apply materials using the native material editor, paying attention to the procedural mapping of the wood grain and the displacement maps for the stone bases. Use standard lighting setups with soft shadows to highlight the contrast between the polished table surface and the matte finish of the chairs.
