About this asset

This 3ds Max model features a realistic potted palm plant housed in a textured wicker basket, providing natural greenery for interiors. The asset depicts a tall, multi-stemmed palm with dense, slender fronds that fan outwards to create a full, organic silhouette. The plant is contained within a woven wicker basket, which features a natural light-brown finish and two integrated side handles for a tactile, artisanal appearance. The base of the plant is neatly finished with a moss-like texture covering the soil, ensuring a clean look for close-up renders. The scale and proportions of the foliage are balanced, making it suitable for corners, entryways, or as a focal point in a living space.

The download is an 11.7 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

To integrate this asset into a 3ds Max scene, merge the file and scale it to match the project requirements. The foliage and basket are typically grouped or layered for easy selection. When placing this in a scene, ensure the pivot point is set to the base of the basket for efficient floor-level placement. Adjust the material shaders if necessary to match the ambient lighting of your specific environment, and use standard viewport display settings for optimal performance during initial layout and composition.

This potted palm is ideal for residential living rooms, hotel lobbies, and contemporary office break-out spaces where a touch of nature is required. It pairs well with minimalist furniture, mid-century modern interiors, or tropical-themed design schemes. Professionals frequently search for high-quality botanical assets to populate architectural visualisations. This plant adds depth and life to empty corners, balcony scenes, or reception areas, effectively softening hard architectural lines while providing a natural, vibrant contrast to neutral colour palettes throughout various interior design project stages.
