About this asset

This contemporary potted palm plant 3ds Max model features realistic fronds housed in a high-gloss black ceramic vase for interior styling. This decorative botanical asset features a multi-stemmed palm with finely detailed, arching green fronds that create a lush, organic silhouette. The plant is contained within a classic, bulbous-shaped vase finished in a deep, high-gloss black glaze that reflects light realistically. The proportions are balanced, suitable for placement on floors or low pedestals. The model captures the subtle variations in leaf colour and texture, providing a natural look that softens the sharp, reflective quality of the ceramic container. It serves as a versatile piece for adding life and texture to various interior spaces.

The download is an 11.8 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

In 3ds Max, this model is managed as a single entity with grouped geometry for the plant and pot. Users should maintain the layer structure to manage polygon density if necessary. The materials utilise standard properties, allowing for easy adjustment of the leaf translucency or the vase reflection intensity via the material editor. When merging into a scene, ensure the pivot point is set to the base of the vase for accurate placement on floor planes or furniture surfaces.

Ideal for residential living areas, hotel lobbies, or modern office reception spaces, this potted palm brings a touch of nature to interior design projects. It pairs effectively with minimalist furniture or as a focal point in a corner arrangement. Professionals often search for this asset when looking for high-quality botanical decor to populate architectural visualisations or interior walkthroughs. It integrates seamlessly into contemporary or eclectic schemes where a balance of organic greenery and sleek, dark accents is required for visual depth.
