About this asset

This 3ds Max collection features five distinct potted indoor plants, ideal for adding realistic botanical detail to architectural scenes. This set includes five varied indoor plants, each housed in a unique contemporary planter. The selection features a feathery palm, a broad-leafed banana plant, a structured tropical specimen, a tall rubber plant, and a dense bamboo cluster. The foliage is rendered with natural variations in leaf texture and colour, ranging from deep emerald to lighter lime tones. Planters include a terracotta pot, textured concrete cylinders, and a fluted grey base. These assets provide a balanced mix of heights and silhouettes, suitable for filling corners or accenting minimalist interior spaces with organic, living elements.

The download is a 61 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model holding 5 separate objects, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

In 3ds Max, these plants function as individual assets, allowing for easy placement and rotation to avoid repetitive patterns in large interior scenes. Users can adjust the scale to suit specific room proportions and modify the material maps if a different leaf sheen or pot finish is required. It is recommended to use an instance-based approach when populating large lobbies or retail environments to maintain performance while ensuring a dense, lush appearance throughout the project floor plan.

These plants are highly versatile for residential living areas, hotel lobbies, and modern office reception spaces. They pair effectively with contemporary furniture, acting as soft visual breaks against hard architectural lines. Designers often specify these for staging, aiming to introduce biophilic elements into neutral palettes. Search for these assets when looking to add life to empty corners, frame doorways, or complete a curated styling scheme in high-end hospitality or commercial renders where organic texture is essential for realism.
