About this asset

This 3ds Max model features a modern ornamental tree with green foliage housed in a tapered, white ribbed plastic planter. The asset presents a single ornamental tree with a textured, light-toned trunk and dense, needle-like green foliage arranged in distinct tiers. The plant sits within a contemporary white planter that features a tapered, square form and horizontal ribbed detailing along its exterior. The base of the plant is finished with a layer of dark, textured soil or mulch. The proportions are balanced, making it suitable for architectural visualisation of interior spaces where a touch of greenery is required. All components, including the leaves and the structured pot, are modelled with attention to form.

The download is a 7.5 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

In 3ds Max, this model should be treated as a high-detail decorative element. Users can easily merge the object into a scene, ensuring the pivot point is set to the base of the planter for precise placement on floors or platforms. Adjusting the scale is straightforward, though it is recommended to maintain the aspect ratio of the foliage. Materials can be modified within the slate material editor if custom shaders are required to match specific lighting setups or environmental conditions within your interior project.

This potted plant is ideal for enhancing the realism of residential living rooms, modern office lobbies, or hotel reception areas. It pairs well with minimalist furniture, adding natural texture to clean, hard-surfaced environments. Professionals often search for this type of asset when populating commercial showrooms or high-end residential interiors to add life and visual interest. Use it to soften corners, frame entryways, or complete a lounge seating arrangement in architectural renders where a touch of nature is necessary for a balanced composition.
