About this asset

A set of contemporary grommet-top fabric curtains for SketchUp, featuring various decorative patterns and neutral colour palettes. This collection includes eight distinct curtain panels, each finished with a standard metal grommet header for easy installation on a curtain rod. The panels vary in texture and pattern, ranging from classic damask motifs and subtle organic swirls to solid-coloured drapes. The material appears as a medium-weight fabric with natural folds and draping characteristics, suitable for providing privacy and light control in interior settings. Each panel is modelled as a single, vertical piece with consistent height, allowing for modular application across different window widths and ceiling heights in a model.

The download is a 15.7 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model holding 8 separate objects. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

In SketchUp, these curtain assets function as individual components. Users can scale the width to fit specific window openings, though care should be taken to maintain the proportions of the grommet header. The fabric textures are mapped to the geometry, allowing for easy material replacement or adjustment of transparency if a sheer effect is desired. The components are lightweight, making them ideal for populating large residential projects without significantly impacting viewport performance or file size.

These curtains are suitable for residential living rooms, bedrooms, and dining areas, as well as hospitality suites and hotel rooms. They provide a quick way to add realism to interior visualisations during the concept or development stages. Designers can pair these with various window types, from floor-to-ceiling glazing to standard bedroom apertures. Search for these by terms such as window dressings, fabric drapes, or textile window coverings to integrate them into your interior design workflow.
