Oriental Dark Wood Lounge Set with Screen Scene

This 3ds Max scene features an oriental lounge set complete with a dark wood sofa, matching armchairs, and a marble coffee table. This comprehensive furniture arrangement captures a traditional aesthetic, featuring a low-profile sofa with bolster cushions and two coordinating armchairs. The primary construction is dark-stained wood, exhibiting clean, linear joinery typical of oriental design. A central rectangular coffee table features a polished black marble top, providing a sophisticated contrast to the wood frame. The entire composition is anchored by a decorative backdrop screen, incorporating a circular window element and tiled roof detail, which serves to frame the seating area. Accessory pieces include two tall side stands, cushions, and tabletop decor.

The download is a 54.4 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) scene, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

To integrate this scene into a 3ds Max project, import the model using the merge command to preserve layer hierarchy and material assignments. Scale the group to match your interior floor plan, ensuring the screen is aligned correctly against the intended wall surface. Adjust the texture mapping on the marble and wood surfaces if necessary to achieve the desired grain orientation. Lighting should be configured to complement the warm, natural tones of the timber and the reflective quality of the marble top.
