Oriental Dark Wood Altar Cabinet with Lattice Screens

This SketchUp model features an oriental-style wooden altar cabinet complete with intricate lattice side screens and ritual accessories. This altar cabinet is crafted from dark-toned wood, featuring a clean, rectangular silhouette with a lower storage section finished in a subtle chevron veneer pattern. The unit is framed by two tall, vertical side screens displaying an elaborate, interlocking geometric lattice design. The upper surface serves as a focal point for ritual display, currently populated with a central white ceramic vessel, smaller matching bowls, and two slender candlesticks. The proportions are balanced to provide a sense of reverence and structure, suitable for a dedicated prayer space or as a cultural feature in a contemporary interior.

The download is a 30.1 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

When integrating this model into a SketchUp scene, utilise the component groups to manage the cabinet and accessories separately. The wood grain textures are mapped to align with the vertical and horizontal panels, allowing for easy material scaling or replacement if a different timber finish is required. Ensure the model is placed against a wall or within a partition niche to reflect its intended function, and use soft, focused lighting to accentuate the depth and detail of the lattice screens.

Designed for residential interiors that incorporate traditional or fusion cultural elements, this altar cabinet is ideal for living rooms, dedicated prayer rooms, or quiet study areas. It pairs well with minimalist wall treatments or neutral backdrops that allow the detailed wood craftsmanship to stand out. Professionals searching for ancestor shrines, ritual furniture, or cultural interior accents will find this model useful for adding authentic detail to high-end residential projects or hotel suites that require a respectful and well-composed focal point.
