About this asset

This contemporary SketchUp model set features two organic-shape fabric rugs, one with linear detailing and one with a layered gradient. The collection includes two distinct rug designs, both defined by soft, irregular organic silhouettes. The first piece is finished in a clean cream tone, accented by concentric linear borders that follow the perimeter of the shape. The second rug displays a deep, rich brown centre that fades through lighter gradients toward the edge, finished with a subtle white line detail. These pieces are designed as low-profile floor coverings with a flat appearance, suitable for grounding seating groups or accentuating open floor areas within a contemporary interior scheme.

The download is a 20.1 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model holding 2 separate objects. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

Import these SketchUp components directly into your project file as a group or component. Because these assets are essentially flat, they are ideal for placement directly onto floor surfaces; ensure they are offset slightly (1–5mm) above the floor plane to prevent z-fighting in your renderings. You may need to adjust the material mapping or scale to suit your specific room proportions, as these assets can be easily resized using the standard scale tool in the native software.

These rugs are well-suited for high-end residential living rooms, boutique hotel suites, or modern office breakout areas where a soft, organic aesthetic is required. They pair effectively with minimalist furniture, curved sofas, or natural wood flooring to add texture and visual interest to a space. Professionals searching for abstract floor décor, organic-shaped area rugs, or contemporary accent pieces will find these versatile assets useful for developing detailed floor plans and interior visuals for various design stages.
