About this asset

This contemporary off-white sheer floor-length curtain model for 3ds Max features a soft, vertical drape with integrated side panels. This window treatment consists of a lightweight, semi-transparent sheer layer paired with heavier, pleated side panels. The sheer fabric exhibits a fine vertical texture that allows for soft light diffusion, while the solid side panels provide a structured frame. The pleating is consistent across the top header, creating uniform folds that fall naturally to the floor. The neutral off-white tone makes it a versatile choice for various interior palettes. The overall construction is clean and architectural, focusing on the simple, elegant movement of the fabric as it hangs from a concealed track system.

The download is a 5 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

To integrate this model into a 3ds Max scene, merge the file into your project and align the top header with your window head detail or ceiling track. The mesh is structured to allow for easy scaling to match specific floor-to-ceiling heights. Ensure the material shaders are correctly mapped to your render engine to preserve the translucency of the sheer fabric. Adjust the opacity and falloff maps to achieve the desired level of light filtration and realism for your interior architectural visualisations.

These curtains are suitable for residential living rooms, bedrooms, or hotel suites where a soft, layered aesthetic is required. They pair effectively with minimalist or contemporary furniture, adding texture without overwhelming the space. Professionals often search for these assets as part of window dressing packages to enhance the realism of daylight scenes. When staging interiors, use these to define the perimeter of a room and provide a sense of scale and domestic comfort, particularly in high-end apartment or boutique hotel design projects.
