About this asset

This SketchUp model provides a set of two off-white rectangular fabric rugs featuring subtle geometric textures for interior floor finishes. These two rectangular rugs are presented with a clean, off-white finish, designed to sit flush against interior floor surfaces. The first rug features a subtle, grid-like pattern across its surface, while the second displays a concentric, stepped-rectangle border motif. Both assets are thin-profile textile elements, suitable for defining zones within a living area or bedroom. The neutral palette ensures they remain versatile additions to various interior schemes, providing a soft texture against hardwood or tiled flooring while maintaining a minimalist aesthetic through their simple, structured geometric detailing.

The download is a 20.3 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model holding 2 separate objects. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

In SketchUp, these rugs function as flat surface components. Import the file into your master scene and place them directly onto the floor plane. Since these are simple geometry-based assets, ensure they are positioned slightly above the floor surface to prevent z-fighting during render. You can easily scale these components to fit specific room dimensions or swap the applied material textures to adjust the fabric appearance to suit your project's specific colour palette or material requirements.

These area rugs are ideal for residential projects, particularly in living rooms, master bedrooms, or walk-in closets where a soft, neutral floor accent is required. They pair effectively with modern furniture, such as low-profile sofas or platform beds, to ground a seating area. Professionals looking for floor styling assets will find these useful for creating inviting, realistic interior visualisations. Search for these items when needing simple, clean textile floor coverings to enhance the comfort and visual warmth of a project.
