About this asset

This modern outdoor fountain scene for 3ds Max features a layered stone wall with integrated water flows and a gravel basin. This exterior scene presents a contemporary water feature defined by a linear, stacked stone wall that acts as a backdrop for three distinct, cascading water streams. The base consists of a concrete trough partially filled with water, complemented by smooth decorative stones, rounded mossy mounds, and dark grey gravel. The composition balances architectural precision with organic textures, creating a tranquil, high-end aesthetic suitable for luxury garden or courtyard designs. The lighting setup is calibrated to enhance the interplay between the water's surface, the mist effects, and the textured stone facade.

The download is a 243 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) scene, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

As a complete 3ds Max scene, this asset is designed for immediate integration into larger architectural visualisations. Users should check the layer structure to isolate the water simulation elements and adjust the lighting intensity to match their primary project environment. The materials are pre-applied, allowing for quick adjustments to the stone colour or water transparency via the material editor. When merging into a larger master file, ensure that the scale is maintained to preserve the correct physics of the water flow.

This fountain is well-suited for high-end residential landscaping, hotel courtyards, or wellness spa exterior designs. It serves as a focal point in zen-inspired gardens or minimalist outdoor spaces where water elements are required to provide both visual interest and ambient sound. Professionals looking for realistic water features will find this scene effective for architectural rendering projects focusing on tranquil outdoor environments. It pairs well with modern patio furniture, architectural lighting, and native planting schemes in contemporary landscape architecture portfolios.
