About this asset

This contemporary off-white fabric L-shaped sectional sofa 3ds Max model features a deep-seated configuration with a soft throw. Defined by clean lines and a relaxed, upholstered aesthetic, this L-shaped sectional sofa offers a generous seating area suitable for open-plan living. The frame is finished in a light, off-white fabric with a subtle texture, complemented by multiple scatter cushions of varying sizes. The inclusion of a draped, dark-toned throw adds a layer of visual depth and realism to the composition. Its low-profile design and wide armrests provide a grounded, modern silhouette that balances comfort with a refined structural form, making it a versatile anchor piece for contemporary interior schemes.

The download is a 23.4 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

To integrate this asset into a 3ds Max project, merge the file into your scene and ensure the unit scale is aligned with your master file. The model is organised with logical layer naming, allowing for easy selection of the sofa, cushions, and throw as individual components. Apply your preferred fabric textures or utilise the existing mapping to adjust the scale of the weave. Lighting setups should account for the soft shadows cast by the cushions and the folds in the draped throw.

This sectional is ideal for residential living room layouts, hotel lounge areas, and high-end apartment staging where a neutral, inviting aesthetic is required. It pairs effectively with minimalist coffee tables, textured area rugs, and warm accent lighting to create a cohesive gathering space. Architects and interior designers often search for this type of modular seating when planning family-oriented rooms or casual reception zones, as its L-shaped form is particularly efficient for defining seating clusters within larger, multi-functional interior floor plans.
