Off-White Fabric Hammock Chair with Wooden Spreader Bar

This off-white fabric hammock chair, modelled for 3ds Max, features a wooden spreader bar and soft cushions for a relaxed aesthetic. This hammock chair is constructed from a soft, off-white fabric, suspended by a durable rope system that converges at a single overhead mounting point. A horizontal wooden spreader bar maintains the structural integrity and width of the seat, ensuring a comfortable seating posture. The design includes two integrated, square-profile cushions in a contrasting beige tone, providing additional support. The lower edge of the fabric seat is finished with decorative fringe detailing, characteristic of a casual, bohemian aesthetic. The assembly is lightweight, presenting a versatile option for relaxed, informal interior or outdoor spaces.

The download is a 24.2 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

In 3ds Max, this model is managed as a single object assembly with distinct material IDs for the fabric and wood components. Users can easily adjust the height of the suspension ropes via sub-object editing if the ceiling clearance requires modification. The texture mapping is set to capture the weave of the fabric and the grain of the wooden bar. It is recommended to apply a high-quality HDRI environment map to achieve accurate light interaction with the fabric folds and the rope geometry.

Ideal for residential interior design, this hammock chair serves as a focal point in sunrooms, reading nooks, or casual living areas. It also integrates well into hospitality projects such as boutique hotel relaxation lounges or outdoor terrace settings. Professionals should look for this asset when searching for relaxed seating, swing chairs, or bohemian decor elements. It pairs effectively with natural textures, indoor potted plants, and light-filled spaces, providing a comfortable and inviting atmosphere for various leisure-focused design schemes.
