About this asset

This off-white fabric curtain with a clean-lined pelmet is a SketchUp model designed for realistic interior window dressing. This window treatment features a structured, rectangular pelmet finished in a solid off-white tone, concealing the curtain track mechanism. The curtains themselves are rendered in a soft off-white fabric, featuring deep, uniform vertical folds that suggest a heavy, high-quality textile. The panels are gathered at the sides with matching tie-backs, creating a balanced, symmetrical drape that frames the central section. The design is minimalist and versatile, avoiding excessive ornamentation while providing a clean, finished appearance suitable for various interior styles, from contemporary living rooms to refined hotel bedrooms.

The download is a 3.1 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

When integrating this curtain into a SketchUp scene, place the component against your wall geometry to align the pelmet with the window head. Use the native scale tool to adjust the width if necessary, ensuring the fabric folds remain proportional. The model is organised into logical groups, allowing for easy adjustment of the curtain panels. Apply custom transparency or bump maps to the fabric surfaces within your preferred renderer to enhance the realism of the textile texture and depth.

These curtains are ideal for residential interior projects, particularly in living rooms, formal dining areas, or master bedrooms where a polished, tailored look is required. They pair effectively with contemporary furniture and neutral colour palettes. Professionals might search for this asset when detailing window treatments for high-end residential renovations or hotel guest room mock-ups. The clean geometry makes it a reliable choice for architectural visualisations requiring subtle, realistic soft furnishings that do not distract from the primary interior design elements.
